New site manager with a focus on the customer's needs

On the first of October, Pär Degerlund took over as the new site manager at Gisab's Luleå office. He most recently came from PEAB, where he has worked as a supervisor and site manager for over ten years. When Pär is not working, he spends his free time with his partner and their two children. In between there will be some hunting, snowmobiling and golfing.

Gisab continues to deliver in the hydrogen sector

Metacon's associated company Water2H2 has hired Gisab for installation and commissioning of an electrolysis plant for Uppvidinge Vätgas. The choice of supplier was mainly due to Gisab's experience from the installation of the electrolysis plant at the Hybrit pilot plant in Luleå. In the summer of 2022, the plant in Uppvidinge will be in operation and will then provide fuel for light and heavy hydrogen vehicles.

Gisab replaces LD gas pipe for SSAB in Luleå

When SSAB discovered shortcomings in the LD gas pipeline that is part of the system for extracting energy from the gases formed through steel production, it was time to do something about it. Gisab was commissioned to replace the 26 meter long, 40 year old and 13 tonne pipe.
