On the first of October, Pär Degerlund took over as the new site manager at Gisab's Luleå office. He most recently came from PEAB, where he has worked as a supervisor and site manager for over ten years. When Pär is not working, he spends his free time with his partner and their two children. In between there will be some hunting, snowmobiling and golfing.
“I take with me experience from having worked very customer-focused on large projects with a large company. Now I want to be a driving force in Gisab's continuing growth. It feels extremely exciting to work with partnerships and function agreements ", says Pär about his new professional challenge.
He talks a lot about Gisab's new way of working for sustainable partnerships, Gisab One, and describes it as an important reason why he was attracted by his new employer. Pär describes Gisab as an organization with very competent staff and with great opportunities to be able to participate and influence the delivery to customers in the best way.
"I see Gisab One as the best practice. This means that we can appoint the optimal organization in each individual situation, while the customers get what they really need. It is very much about smart resource utilization and clear added value for our customers. This is our, and the entire industry's, future, ”Pär continues.
As site manager, he has both financial and personnel responsibilities. In the near future, Pär will focus on helping its staff to perform optimally and with a strong customer focus in the major development that the green transition of heavy industry entails.
